Thorold Wines is an independent wine shop. The shop is run by Daniel Thorold, whose aim is to provide the local area with a friendly, informal and specialist shop selling excellent wines at reasonable prices.
Our
selection includes classic vintages from the finest producers around the world as well
as earthy and natural handmade French country wines from artisan producers. Our passion is to find good value in every bottle we sell, whether it costs £5 or £50.
We will be holding regular Saturday
wine tastings as well as running wine courses and private wine evenings
for people who live in the neighbourhood.
As well as creating The Good Wine Shop in St Margaret's, Twickenham, in 2000, Daniel Thorold also managed The Grape Shop in the nearby Northcote Road for the past four years. From 1993-1999 he was the manager of El Vino in Fleet Street.
